Ballarat and Clarendon College
This high achieving secondary college required an AV system which delivered high quality sound and video in a room utilised by many different users.
Hypervisuals assessment noted that the room featured high ceilings, was quite reverberant and that any system was to minimise impact on the feel and aesthetics of the space.
The room has two distinct spots for presentations, often showing multiple projections at the same time and was frequently used for assemblies, information evenings and dance classes.
To best meet their objective, Hypervisuals employed Extron’s DTP range of video extenders and switchers for signal distribution to match the dual projection setup.
Wireless presentation of material for newer devices was catered for with WiDi enabled receivers.
The audio design featured a Allen & Heath Digital Sound Processor, Australian Monitor digital amplifiers and Column loudspeakers distributed throughout the hall to give every audience member the clearest possible sound and combat the challenging environment. Presenters could use a range of wireless and wired microphones.
Control and automation of the room was made easy with a 7 inch In-Wall touch screen for presenters and PC executable software to allow remote control by technical support or event organiser.
