Client Brief
Victoria University Secondary College (VUSC) — a three-campus high school — hosts assemblies, parent information evenings, and sports activities in its central recreation centre.
The challenge was to design a robust, highly flexible AV system that could adapt to multiple uses while remaining simple to operate for staff.
Our Assessment
The recreation centre was used for a wide range of events, so the AV system needed to:
-
Deliver bright, large-scale visuals for audiences of varying sizes.
-
Support multiple audio sources for different event formats.
-
Be durable enough to withstand the demands of a busy sports facility.
-
Remain user-friendly for staff with varying technical experience.
The Solution
Hypervisuals delivered a customised AV system that maximised both performance and protection:
-
State-of-the-art laser projection technology for sharp, vibrant images in any lighting.
-
Auto-switching video input between HDMI and VGA for effortless device connection.
-
Flexible audio design with wireless lapel and handheld microphones, plus an iPod/auxiliary port for music playback.
-
Secure projector enclosure to protect equipment from stray balls and sports activities.
The Result
VUSC now benefits from a versatile, reliable AV solution that supports everything from large assemblies to energetic sporting events. Staff appreciate the ease of use, while the rugged design ensures long-term performance and minimal downtime — even in the heart of an active recreation space.
