Project Overview

Catholic Ladies’ College in Eltham wanted to create a dedicated podcast studio to enhance their media studies program. The aim was to give students access to professional-standard tools in a learning environment that was simple, reliable, and inspiring.

Hypervisuals was engaged to deliver a complete solution that would be ready to use from day one.

The Solution

Hypervisuals designed and installed a turnkey podcast studio using professional-grade equipment, tailored for both education and real-world application:

  • RØDE RodeCaster production system – the central hub for recording, mixing, and managing podcasts.

  • Broadcast-quality microphones with adjustable mic stands – ensuring clear voice capture and flexibility in studio layout.

  • Professional monitoring headphones – providing students with accurate, distraction-free audio monitoring.

  • Room PC and TV/monitor integration – supporting live editing, lesson demonstrations, and content review.

  • Ergonomic layout and cable management – keeping the space neat, practical, and classroom-friendly.

The Outcome

  • Hands-on student experience: Learners now create podcasts with the same tools used by industry professionals.

  • Seamless workflow: Teachers can run lessons without technical barriers, thanks to the all-in-one RodeCaster system.

  • Creative hub: The studio encourages collaboration and innovation, becoming a centrepiece of the media studies curriculum.

  • Future-ready facility: The college is now equipped with a modern digital learning space that prepares students for future study and careers in media.
